“Ah and the perfect Dragomir Princess meets her
match, a hang over,” Adrian teased tiredly, not
having the energy to truly sound sarcastic with his
words. “I suppose being a good kid has its perks after all.”

” i’m not perfect. “ the words nearly tumble out of her
mouth; she had rushed to correct him. but she still
smiled a little, she liked the familiarity that was between
them. ” not that you’d know, though, right ? “
“Not to worry, little cousin. I’ll keep it all PG-13
for those of you who have yet to reach an adult
age,” he winked at her and leaned back on his
couch, his eyes closing briefly. “Which reminds
me,” he began again, not opening his eyes.
”Shouldn’t you be in class or something?”

she’d thought about going to class, debated over
it, but eventually decided against it; her perfect
record could take a little hit now and then. she
shook her head. ” i am supposed to be, yes, but
it’s not like i could focus enough to really do me
any good. “
“Hm,” Adrian hummed as he contemplated
the bottle of water in his hand. “If I could
remember, you probably wouldn’t want to
know,” he offered with a tired grin as he
looked up to the blonde, knowing nothing
had happened in actuality, and it never would.

she scrunched her nose up in disgust at the image
of him and avery, despite thinking (hoping) that
something should happen between them. however,
his grin was contagious, and she couldn’t help but
smile back, even with what she said next. “ that's too
much information already. "
Despite Lissa’s acceptance, Adrian still felt guilty.
This was supposed to be the one thing he was
good at. “I’d offer to heal your migraine away, but
I’m almost certain I’m still half drunk.”

she shook her head softly, lifting her head. “ it’s
okay. water will do. ” she forced herself to get up
from her spot, soon returning with a small cup
of water. “ so what did avery and you do after christian
and i left ? ”
dragomxr liked for a starter
“If you’re about to ask if I spoke to Rose
last night, don’t bother. I ended up
drinking too much during our little party
to even consider trying it.”

a sigh escaped her. they’d all overindulged,
she shouldn’t have hoped for any different.
but, foolishly, she had. ” i understand. my
head’s killing me, and i don’t think that
would have helped if you had talked to her. “
