Rose lifts her hands in a defensive manner.
“Whoa—hey I never said everyone should
dress like me but I also didn’t say it’d be a
bad thing so…” She offers Lissa a teasing
smile. “Maybe you should just let me update
your wardrobe a little, badass queen would
so suit you.”
while she did like the ring of the title ‘badass queen’,
she took a moment to pause and think it over. she
always thought that darker colors would make her
look even paler than she was – but couldn’t be certain;
she’d never tried. it didn’t take her long to come up
with a compromise; lissa had always been good with
compromises. ” one outfit. one outfit, rose, and if i
like it, i’ll spice up my wardrobe a little. “
“Hm,” Adrian hummed as he contemplated
the bottle of water in his hand. “If I could
remember, you probably wouldn’t want to
know,” he offered with a tired grin as he
looked up to the blonde, knowing nothing
had happened in actuality, and it never would.
she scrunched her nose up in disgust at the image
of him and avery, despite thinking (hoping) that
something should happen between them. however,
his grin was contagious, and she couldn’t help but
smile back, even with what she said next. “ that's too
much information already. "
Lissa should’ve realized that this would be
a loaded question.
“Well personally I think everyone could
benefit from changing their wardrobe just
a little bit, but hey to each their own right your highness?”
she rolled her eyes at the use of rose’s ‘your
highness’. ” so everyone should dress like
you ? “ she didn’t mean this offensively, of
course, she was just teasing her. ” i don’t
think i can pull off dark colors, rose. “
“You weren’t… But I shouldn’t have been able to loose you>”
“ you think i hid myself from you on purpose ? rose, i don’t even know how to do that. i wish i did, though. ”
Despite Lissa’s acceptance, Adrian still felt guilty.
This was supposed to be the one thing he was
good at. “I’d offer to heal your migraine away, but
I’m almost certain I’m still half drunk.”
she shook her head softly, lifting her head. “ it’s
okay. water will do. ” she forced herself to get up
from her spot, soon returning with a small cup
of water. “ so what did avery and you do after christian
and i left ? ”
“Has anyone ever told you
that you wear to many pastels?
I mean this in a loving way of course.”
she knows rose has nothing but
