She had little to complain about. From a royal family and a family with means, Lissa as a child really didn't worry about much. Sure there were the same worries any living vampire had, but those weren't the sort of things that she really overly thought about when she was young.

That was until there was a horrible car crash when she was 15 killing all of her family except for herself and her best friend Rose. Lissa didn't know that she'd saved Rose's life at first, she couldn't really remember all of it, nor did Lissa even know that she was a spirit user, she just was one of those people that wasn't specializing in an element. Everything changed after that, a bond started to appear between herself and Rose, complicated, confusing, and annoyingly one way. Rose could feel, sense, and even basically slip into Lissa's body, while Lissa was clueless on that. The death of her family made her the last living known Dragomir, she became a princess.

It wasn't just the strange bond that was formed with Rose, but there was depression, and Lissa started to feel like she wasn't always herself, she felt hurt, depressed, in some case going as far to even harm herself. She became paranoid, or at least that's what she thought and before she even knew it she agreed to run away with Rose, leaving behind the world and the life that she'd known.

What happened in the woods was what really seemed to push the choice to run away. Lissa had healed a dead raven, she couldn't help it. Although Ms. Karp told them to never tell anyone, Lissa still felt as though someone was following her, so they ran…

Living on the run was… weird. There had already been a strong bond between Rose and herself, but that time on the run meant that she actually had to feed on Rose too. Lissa hated it, but she had to feed to survive, especially if she wanted to be able to use her ability of compulsion to keep them on the run just a little bit easier. It worked for a long time too. That was until Portland and they were caught.

In some ways going back to the Academy felt like going home, but it was different, she was different. She even let rose talk her into not needing to go back to being involved with the Moroi royals. She needed to live a very peaceful and quiet life. She didn't need to go off the deep end or cause any other problems. She was doing pretty well with it too for a while. That was until dead animals started to show up around, with notes saying that someone knows what she is. The problem was, was that Lissa didn't even really know what she was.

Her caring nature pushed her to want to save the animals, she couldn't help it, but using spirit was dangerous. It was really dangerous. It was always dangerous to use her powers. They drained her causing her to get upset, angry, and even want to cut herself. It complicated life for her. It was also after she got back that she started to get to know Christian better. She'd always known who he was, but she didn't really know him that well until that year. There was something about him that she just really liked. Although it wasn't always easy, and Rose clearly didn't seem to care much for him, going so far as warning and meddling.

Although Lissa took a step back from her fellow royals, after Rose is put in the gossip light and embarrassed, Lissa can't help herself and does something about it. She starts to use compulsion magic to start slowly changing everyone's mind about Rose. That wasn't really the best thing for her to do, especially because it pushed the one person outside of Rose that she felt like she could really be herself around.. Christian away. She wasn't really herself though.

With a party coming up, Lissa is invited to go shopping with her "Uncle" Price Victor, his daughter and is able to invite Rose along with them. It was a fun day, until Rose slipped breaking her ankle. Unable to stop herself Lissa healed her best friend. The panic, the depression and the side effect of healing caused Lissa to cut herself, she was furious with Rose for telling but that was when the idea of taking something first came up…

… Not that they really had much of a chance given that before she knew it she was kidnapped by someone she considered tone family, taken because she was a 'spirit' user and her uncle wanted her to heal him, while draining herself. She refused at first, but was tortured in a number of different ways before giving in. She had to, she couldn't take it. She healed him. It felt like a dream, a nightmare as she was rescued, and she was taking Rose's blood to heal Christian. She had to put him together, she had to have him in her life… And she managed to save him, but she also realized that she needed to stop using her magic, it took too much out of her and was really dangerous. The good news? She and Christian actually figured things out and got back together. The amount of things that happened during the few days were complicated, confusing and hard.. but Lissa really just left it all feeling okay that her best friend was alive, her now boyfriend was okay, and she was starting to get the help she needed, with antidepressants.

As news of Strigoi attacks happening wasn't one that anyone really was sure how to handle, but life as always too depressing and because they wanted everyone to be safe, a Ski trip was planned. Lissa was actually really looking forward to it, and enjoyed the idea of getting away and having a good time. But before they could go, Lissa tired to see if Rose might have feelings for her friend Mason, Lissa really just wanted Rose to be as happy as she was with Christian. She was taking her relationship further with him after all. Although she'd rather not think about the fact that Rose might have felt it along with her, the downside of a bond.

Right before the trip, Lissa decided it was time to give Rose a chotki, marking that Rose would someday be her guardian and they'd be able to be best friends and be together no matter what. Everything felt pretty good when they went off the next day to the ski resort, things were fun, she got to spend time with her boyfriend, see her best friend, and meet another spirit user. One named Adrian Ivashkov. Meeting Adrian really changed a lot of how Lissa started to see what she was, a spirit user.

The only problem with getting to know Adrian, was it seemed to cause a lot of tension in her relationships. There was never anything romantic in her desire to spend time with Adrian, its as just that he understood a part of her that no one else really good. He knew what it really felt like to be a spirit user, sure Rose could feel what Lissa felt, but that wasn't the same. She hated that it cause fights with Christian, but she really needed to know more about who she was.

Things turned for the worst though on that trip. Rose, Christian, Mason, Eddie and Mia just disappeared. She doesn't even know where, or how. Nothing, they were just gone. While those she loves are in ganger, and missing, Lissa spends time with Adrian trying to learn more about spirit, and work together to figure it out. It was really hard to figure out how to help Rose after the death of Mason, and after the horrors they must have seen. The helpless feeling was one that just really killed her.

It was because of all of that she finally decides to stop taking her meds, or course she had to get permission, but it was the right thing to do. It also happened to be right before Victor's trials, and right abut the time the guardians started their field experience. While disappointed that Rose wasn't assigned as her guardian, she really started to trust and enjoy to company of Eddie, realizing he was a good guardian. As her powers started to come back, she shows Adrian how to heal, but thinks it's stupid when Christian is jealous of her time with Adrian.

Victor's trial came well before Lissa was really ready for it. It was hard for her to handle, knowing everything that he did to her. She was startled when asked to see the Queen. She wasn't really sure she wanted to meet with the Queen, and be asked questions about being a spirit user, regardless she is offered a chance to go to a bigger college and live at court after school. It was complicated, confusing and there was a lot for her to weigh in. At the very least at least Victor was found guilty, although it really didn't bring as much comfort as she would have liked it too.

When Rose finally told them what was happening with seeing ghosts, Lissa wanted to help, but she wasn't really sure how. While Rose started counseling, a secret society started to be talked about (in secret of course). The Mână and list was invited but she turned it down. It wasn't her sort of thing. Apparently turning it down wasn't a good idea… seeing as she was taken by the stupid group and attack to see how powerful she could be. She pushes too far and can't stop, but Rose ended up getting her darkness and couldn't stop instead. Everything changed hours later as the school is attacked by Strigoi, and Lissa can't save Dimitri, she realized at that point how much Rose cared about Dimitri. She couldn't save Dimitri, she just couldn't. Before she knows it, Rose just leaves. Leaves to go kill Dimitri, because he'd become Strigoi, and Lissa is left feeling as though she's selfish, never thinking about Rose first.

With Rose gone, Lissa becomes friends with Avery Lazar, she didn't really want to become friends with her at first, but with time she starts to. The only problem is, is that she stopped being herself. She started being wild, crazy, doing things that just were out of character for who she was. She even kissed her ex-boyfriend which pushed Christian to break up with her. That broke her heart. She loved him, but she just couldn't… something was wrong with her. Somehow she ended up finding herself possibly about able to kill herself, but not by her own doing. Luckily Rose fights through her and helps her survive the attack, exposing Avery as an evil spirit user. When Rose comes back to school, they finally come to the same page and really start to talk and Lissa agrees to do whatever is necessary to help Rose. Including breaking Victor out of prison in order to learn how to save Dimitri.

Breaking the man out of prison that tortured wasn't exactly a highlight of her life, but Lissa had to do it for Rose. Even though Rose was her guardian, Lissa would do anything for her best friend, and that included finding a way to turn Dimitri back. Between getting him out, and than going to Las Vegas to learn about how to change him back, it's dangerous, it's hard, and only a spirit user can do it. Lissa took every single word seriously and started to try and figure out how how to infuse the stake. While Lissa and Christian learn to fight by other guardians, it finally comes time. Although being kidnapped by Dimitri wasn't a highlight either. It was so really hard to keep all of that from Rose, but she had to, she had to keep things from her. And in the end was able to save Dimitri. She put all of her force behind it. There was a bond created between them that moment. Nothing romantic, but one that Lissa wishes he didn't feel so indebted to her. She'd do it all over again.

One thing after another was how things felt, before she had a clue what was happening, Rose was accused of killing Queen Tatiana, which was just insane. Lissa couldn't believe it, it wasn't true, it couldn't be true. That wasn't something Rose would do.

With Rose locked up, Lissa had to find a way not to let onto anything that was happening, Lissa and the group found a way to break her out, of course Lissa had to have a good alibi and she did, but it was heard knowing Rose was on the run, and she was stuck at court where she was trying to figure out who actually killed the Queen… While running to be Queen herself. That was one of the things that Lissa just didn't really want to do, but it was something she could do to drag things out. Even though it wasn't like she could really be Queen, given that she had no living family (at least that she knew about).

The tests to become Queen weren't easy, they were complicated, trying, and difficult, but Lissa actually found herself loving them. They were things that pushed her to be a better person, pushed her to be the person that she could be, and despite herself found herself wondering what it might be like to be Queen. The surprising part was, was that she actually passed them all very well. Before she even knows it, Rose presents Jill… A girl that Lissa was jealous of once because of how much time Christian had spent with her. Jill, a girl who is actually her half-sister. Which enabled Lissa to become Queen. It was in that moment that Tasha was shown as the murderer, trying to kill Lissa, but Rose once against saved her life, and this time when Rose came back, the bond was gone. Completely gone.

Becoming Queen wasn't something that Lissa really was expecting, but she knew how important it was, and the first thing was she needed to find a way to change the law about one family member alive. ©
